Scott McKenna Campbell

Scott returns to Door Shakespeare after playing Feste in Twelfth Night and composing/music directing the company’s 2017 season. A designer, multi-instrumentalist and actor, his acting credits include work with the Ohio Shakespeare Festival, Shakespeare in Delaware Park, the Blue Ridge Summer Theatre Company and the Maryland Shakespeare Company.  He composed the full lyrics and score for new plays Robin Hood: An Adventure with Music and The Three Musketeers with Ohio Shakes.  He has also composed for the Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Academy for Classical Acting and Mary Baldwin University’s S&P graduate program. Scott earned his Master’s degree in Shakespeare and Performance from Mary Baldwin University, and is pursuing his PhD in Interdisciplinary Theatre Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  He is an Equity Membership Candidate, a member of the American Society for Theatre Research, and a core company member with the Ohio Shakespeare Festival.
